Emerald City Twilight

There are several misconceptions about Washington State — 1) that it is a capitol city in the eastern part of the United States and 2) that it rains all the time. While this may be true of Seattle, the most well-known city of the area, most of the state is not Seattle.

That being said, the Emerald City is well named for its beautiful waterways, forested islands, and gracious skyline — the latter which glows in the sunset as the viewer stands on the ferry deck, approaching the city. Emerald City Twilight  (original oil painting on canvas, 24 x 36) captures a moment at the end of the day as a sailor for pleasure cruises gently through the waters of Puget Sound — well out of the way of the ferries!

Emerald City Twilight is available as an original oi painting as well as an archival quality print in varying sizes and prices, the latter starting at $65.
