This is one of my wife's favorite paintings, bringing together in one place a collection of pre-Columbian Peruvian pottery that had reposed, undamaged in a house of five children, on the low ledge near the fireplace of her family home. These artifacts, used by ordinary people 1,000 years ago, amaze me every time I pick them up, handle them, run my fingers over the smooth surface.

The original painting is presently showcased at OC Designer Source in California, and we are in the process of setting up prints of the image to be offered on the site.
