About Paul Armesto

Contemporary classical artist Paul Damian Armesto is the author of some of the largest oil paintings in the world most of these in churches in the United States and Costa Rica: 1. During several trips to Quiberon, Brittany, he developed a love for seascapes and the 18th century period. After academic art studies he sought to perfect his oil painting technique through the traditional teachings of a master: celebrated classical painter Alberto Ycaza (1945-2002). Paul Damian has had several solo exhibits in the US and in Costa Rica and has also painted murals and large canvases for hotels and private individuals. He is currently established in Manhattan, NY.
