I think that having these beautiful flowers  bloom during the cold winter is kind of a miracle. Enjoy.

About Melvin Toledo

I am a Nicaraguan artist. I did my first drawing when I was 13, but I think I discovered the artist in me 4 years later when I started drawing cartoons. I took art classes at The School of Fine Arts in Tegucigalpa, Honduras for a year where I learned about drawing and the basics of oil painting. I spent the next 6 years working on commercial paintings using a mix of lithographic ink and white oil color. I also painted 4 or 5 oil paintings during that time. In 2007, I moved to the US and I began to work exclusively in oil paintings, and had my first art show at Reality Thursday Cafe on February 2008. Currently, I live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
