As spring approaches (tomorrow) the moon is full, near and bright. Too, the sun has started its daily climb and the snow can no longer hide as it did in January. The previous painting was based on this location. This work came as a result of hiking, photographing and most importantly sketching. I drew this for about 15 minutes and returned that afternoon to start this pastel based on the drawing.
