thanks so much for the kind words about my work Dana, Sharon & Richard :)  This one was really fun to paint and is very different from what I usually paint, I think I see more shells in my future ;)

Thanks Bob & Laura :) Yes I think I got lucky with the background.  I have a bad habit of being so focussed on the subject that the background ends up being more of an afterthought so I am really trying to meld the two together more :)
