Mara Schasteen, 2011
"Primrose & Fruit" detail
I have been writing a series of posts on my blog about making each brush stroke count. Now, I am looking for examples in other artist's work (YOURS) to post in the next issue. Visit my blog for details.
Wow-
This is fabulous! A phrase I like is "elegantly reductive" - capturing the essence of the beauty in a subject with as few strokes as necessary. I dont often succeed in doing this, but painting in a small format helps. Please see my post "pochade botanical". Great job! Mark Beale.
