Before First Ice at Bacon Creek, 10 x 14 pastel

This was a plein air study just before winter took it's massive grip on the region.  The trout and bass below remain silent and a memory.... for a few more months. Pastels have become my medium for mobility.

Very Nice Harry, you got the color and lighting down. Bet there's a big mouth bass right near the base of that old dead tree near the waters edge.

This is a very interesting painting.  Love the trig in ice cold water. Nicely done.
