Pontiac, 36 x 36, oil on linen

Here is another of my paintings that has an American Indian logo in the background and a Plains Indian figure.

I've added rust and wear to this red, white and blue background. The figure is in sepia tones.

I spent a long time exploring the lines on his face. You captured it so perfectly that one can feel the amount of sun and hardship he had to experience as well as his proudness. Also very good work on the hair and his jacket

Kay, I think the rust goes perfectly with the story of the painting.

Love the straight forwardness of the painting!!!

This is beautiful and full of unspoken emotions. What a super painting, K. I love the way the figure is in Sepia - so subtle.

Thanks Kay. I wasn't sure if I should add the rust to the background or not but I think it adds some interest and ties in with the  sepia figure.

Thanks Sarah!
