This is a painting I did of Andrew Wyeth after an afternoon visit with him at the home of friend / artist Karl Kuerner III in Chadds Ford, PA during a snowy Janurary.

What a wonderful experience that must have been, and what a wonderful painting.

This painting encompasses all the rules of good composition that I have ever learned.

The perfect Andrew Wyeth that Wyeth never painted! Exactly the right mood. I've met KKIII at the farm, and Helga too, and I wish I could have met AW. I was at his grave in Maine.

(Shouldn't the title be 'As the Crow Flies'?)

Oh no, it was KK junior I met!

Great graphic realism, so Wyeth, now I'm a fan of yours. Niice!
