Good looking acrylic!

Ron, I have a question. Why do people paint celebs? I'm just wondering, not trying to put anybody down..

Thanks...

Hi j.b2,

Hmmm... that is a good question, I can't speak for anybody else but being a music lover and guitar plaver this is my way of giving a nod to my guitar heroes. This piece and the SRV painting are from a serise of blues guitarist I did called "The Blues in Blue", it included Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf... well, the list goes on. For me these people are more than just celebrities, they are people who have made a contribution to an important music genre known as the Blues.

Fair enough Ron.

I always think that we should have a reason to paint or draw..

And yes they are great blues musicians...
