Our Lady of Good Voyage is a Portugese Church in Gloucester, Mass. The Virgin Mary at the top of the Church stands between two bell towers. She holds a wooden ship in her arms and faces the port where fishermen would come in front a long day out at sea. It was no doubt a welcome sight for those returning home safely from very hard and sometimes dangerous travels. Commercial fishing has replaced these "old salt" fishermen. Their tales are now told as legend and the church remains as a reminder of times long past.
