lovely!
wow this is stunning! Fabulous work!
Great work - excelletn! 5 stars for sure.
Amazing. Just curious, did you work from a photography or live?
AWWWESOME
This is really beautiful work.
Wonderfully expressive. I think the picture is exquisite and you should do more. I take it that you did this from a photo, little children do not stay still long enough to be able to measure accurately. This said, is the child's left cheek measured correctly? It seems that the main cheek muscle needs to come up slightly or the right cheek is a little too wide. I remember doing a large pastel painting of a child's head (18x24) and when my husband looked at it (he's a retired toolmaker) he said "Would you check and see if that left eye is about 1/4 inch too close to the nose?" So another 10 hours later sure enough the eye was off and after correcting it I won a first prize in a juried show I entered it in.
Beautifully drawn, you sure know your craft!
excellent details and values, and the hair is great
very beautifully done!!
My first thought was "OH MY" ! What a wonderful drawing. What a delightful face. I absolutely love it. And just what was she/he thinking about reaching for?
this really stands out from the others. What a delicate hand and careful eye
WOW!Incredible!
This is so adorable. Nice gradation, lights, and darks.
Gwen:
Two of your drawings are not coming up on your page...Hal's kids and Lia & Clair. I thought you'd want to know.. But seeing the drawing A Ray told me all I needed to know. You are exceptional. Most people who do not work in graphite do not realize how unforgiving the medium really is.. I, too am a pencil artist and drawing teacher. Let's compare notes.
