I painted this after a day spent last winter at Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. It is done in pastel and won a second place award at a local art show this year. I love painting seascapes and landscapes and have a special affinity for the shore area.

It really is beautifully painted!   I guess I would have put a little more texture or seaweed  on the sand in some places.  I'm not a "neat"  painter.

Artbyjoni, this is a very interesting composition with a lot of very interesting eye movement. I really like the colors.
