Very nice - a tad too much snow on the mountain without having some snow visable on the remaing landscape. Or just a snow cap on the mountain would do and not totally covered top to bottom in snow.
All in all a very nice painting

Your interpretation is pretty good, especially the water treatment.
But, there is something about the yellow trees I don't quite understand.
Actually, the yellow is just background color. I will take your advice and upload this into the forum. Thanks.
Gene, would you consider adding some snow to the background mountain? Also by darkening the bottom of t h e large white mountain would help as well. I like it very much, you could glaze over some of the yellow if it bothers you too much
I think your right Jan. The white mt. could use some shadow at the bottom.
where I live, the yellow would indicate aspen trees in bloom. Aspens only grow within the pines.
