Fresh Catch

A few years ago when I was in Shanghai, it was the shanghai crabs season. They were available in all the restaurants, some would come from far away to taste this special treat. It was little messy to eat but I was more interested to paint them because of the nice subtle colour of blue and green.

Nice play off the blues and orange - makes things "POP" right off the paper.

Nice. The one white one in the bottom right pulls off the page. It might have been better tucked partly under the full crab for contrast.

Nice job on the crabs! Old Paint is right, I think. But, perhaps instead of tucking, just reduce the value to a darker degree.

I love the limited palette, a lot!
