In my series of semi-abstract landscapes this is a very colorful one, with a light spring mood. There are a lot of textures, achieved by a process of layering, scrubbing, adding and removing paint.

I really love this! I've been thinking about color field type abstracts myself. This has a hint of Rothko to it with the horizontals and the amorphouse edges, but zippier, as you say, than Rothko!
