I created this much smaller watercolor version after I painted the large pastel Wind Turbines. This one has some splattered paint in the foreground. It is about the size of a large post-card.
I enjoy the colors in the field most of all - although the shadows are nice too. I'm surprised you did so much with such a small area.
I am as surprised as you are! I splattered a bunch of layers on the foreground to get the colors the way they are, glazing along the way. Glad you like!
It works in either medium. I love that you saw a painting subject in such an every-day object.
