Painted from a photo I took while at Beaver Creek, CO last year. Lots of great photo ops there. It's a beautiful place to vacation.

This was painted with WN water mixable oil.

Nice job, Gene.  I like the sense of movement.

What a great winter scene!  I'm encouraged to know you're successfully using the water soluble oils.  You did an especially nice job on the bridges and distant trees.

Very nice snow scene.  I can just image walking around on the bridges and seeing all the snow on the river and trees.  You did a great job with the water oil colors.  I haven't tried a snow in a long time because they can be difficult.  You've handled this really well - you get a good sense of depth.

Thanks all for the nice comments.

Mike  ..  I like the fact that no solvent is required, just water for mixing and clean up.  The texture seems a bit lighter than other oils but not a big deal. I use WN but think others make it as well.  Plenty of colors avail so good there. Also very easy to remove from the canvas if there is an error. Don't have to wear gloves when working either.

Don't think I will ever change.

I love the perspective in this and the water purples and greens are superb!
