A portrait I was aked for a while ago to do off a photo (lousy quality)
We as artists are always harder on ourselves than others are. Since I don't know the source photo, to me this is excellent.

I have an acquaintance of a woman and her horse in Oklahoma. The feeling of endearment is the same between them as it is shown in this wonderful portrait. You can really feel how special this relationship is. Very nicely done !
Thanks Dania - I never heard back form the recepiant of the portrait and I don't know her in person - made me wonder if I interpreted the photo ok - so it is wonderful to hear from you all. It keeps amazing me how very few people can actually take good photos, but expect me to paint what is not even visible
Isa - I just read your comment on photos from others. I have found the same thing. All we can do is make silk purses from sow's ears! Now, is that so hard?! LOL
