Snatched Moments

Acrylic on canvas, 14" x 18"

I had been spending sometime trying to get a pose to suit the model. While I changed the set up the model decided to relax and read her book. As I was shifting a lamp I happened to glance in a mirror and caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye that totally enthralled me. It was perfect , totally natural and I there aad then decided to paint the reflection of her sitting reading on the floor.

I got a kick out of it and it thought me to constantly be on the look out for the unusuall.

Ha! I wish I could afford a model! Nice work, Tomas.Don't tell me she sat in this position that long, because I have posed before and it is hard work. Gets to you after awhile.
