OIL on canvas done on 14x14 frame
Very, very nice. This is a very good example of complimentary colors making things "POP"

I really like this. The is strong and placed with conviction. The white breasts and the black coloring in their faces creates the high contrast that makes them the focal point. The only area I have trouble with is at the bottom. I think the off white gives the eye a way to ecsape the canvas.
Technique I leave to the oil painters, but this painting sure looks good to me.
