This is a watercolor painting that I started a little before New Years and Finished a little after. It's done on 140lb strathmore watercolor (cold pressed) paper. A scenery of one of the old farm buildings, from a town near by, which have not been used in a while.

I like this!  It reminds me of 'home' (Illinois farmland) even though I'm assuming it is Missouri.  It's crisp and really conveys the feeling of a sunny day in a rural community.

Thank you!

This scene is in Risco, MO. A very small town in the bootheel where my wife is from. There is no shortage of this type of scenery here, and I am really attracted to the way the weathered sheds and silos look, painting them is a joy :)
