Very, very nice - ony suggestion would be to see just a tad of reflected color from the cherries onto the bowl and the table.

Very well done and I agree with Secor that some reflection of the chries on the bowl would be nice.  Compostion is also well done.

Sometimes, due to the arrangement and light direction, color saturation and or reflectivity does not occur. Obviously, the artist can add color saturation, but in this case, the table is reflected in the bowl due to the perspective, I betcha...

Well - in my opinion reflective color is needed to tie the elements together - the light direction might change the location of the reflection, but the reflection will occur.

A great painter once said when asked what he would tell art students, he said "study light and its effects - without light there is nothing.
