This painting has an interesting composition and I like the pronounced contrasts between light and dark. It has a good feeling of solidity and a strong narrative quality. It really caught my eye.

I love the light and shadow in this! And I agree the narrative is very appealing. Really nice, I almost feel I could walk along this street and be a part of this image. I like it a lot.
