This is one of a series on abandoned buildings done in the past few years
Here in Maine, that's considered "move in" condition! Actually, this is a very striking painting. A forlorn building on a bleak winter's day. Good job.
It's an old house lover's fixer-upper, seriously! I like this one a lot, it takes me back to my hometown area, where these old houses are so prevalent.
I like the contrast and the pail hues. The clapboard detail is appealing too. Nice job!
Oh, a summer home on the plains? I appreciate the contasts of textures and values against the negative like shapes of the snow. You've captured the final story to be told from this place. Interesting how it hangs on, it's last breath not yet taken. I like the mailbox how it is also a lead into the picture. Leaves me thinking, when was the last letter delivered? You've also set me back to my youth when we would walk for miles down country roads in NE, Nebraska and venture up to one of these standing dinos. Thanks for the adventure. HuskersVango
