This is the most gorgeous painting. The colors are spectacular even on my computer screen. I feel as if I am there.
Hmmm. All of the winners shown are obviously competently done and the compositions are generally interesting, but I'd like to see work recognized and rewarded that is more interpretive and painterly, that allows the materials/media used to have their rightful 'voice.'
