Oh, yes, this is fascinating. By small study, do you mean a larger version is in the mill?  Hope so!  This has a compelling tone to it. I am now waiting.... Sarah

Sorry, I think this was it. I just had an image from a dream and decided to put it down quickly before I forgot it

Skylar -

Nice composition. Is the figure based on Sherilyn Fenn?

The more I look at this, the more the conflict between the glass and the skin grabs me. Such a dangerous yet fragile touch. Fascinating!

Sarah-

Thanks for picking up on that. I was trying to create in the image that very Juxtaposition of Danger, Delight

Thanks - it's one of those times where you wake up with a piece of a dream, then hasten to document it. Marilyn didn't find it that interesting!

ArtNeighbor.com has just notified me that this piece is being featured on their home page.

Sue-

Thanks. I hesitated to upload this, because I did it rapidly, and I've been called on my apparent rush to finish sometimes (Sarah) HaHa

I find this painting to be to representational. Maybe you should try to explore titles and images outside of direct meaning. It leaves nothing to the imagination. But hey good try and keep painting!

Ruby Spam - Quite often we find our own faults easier to see in others. You might try holding a mirror once in a while.
