The grass, sand and shadows are handled very well in this watercolor

The grasses and sand are handled beautifully; the sky color is alluring. I t may be just the photo, but the left side of the sky seems to have a scrubbed quality that is distracting.

I did have trouble with the sky at first. The blue became too dark.  I almost scrapped the paper and started over but decided to forge ahead and see what happened. Any suggestions on the sky would be appreciated.
