Very, Very nice - good color-good shadow-great realism.  Love the blending in of the FG and BG - Great job!

That was a study of an apple for more complex still life. The still life never made it, though I learned something new about painting the apple.

Anna, what pushes this painting into the advanced level is your handling of edges... soft mixed with firmer edges.  Also the color harmony between the object and background - -- outstanding!
