This is a 48"x24" oil painting. I love Velazquez's colors and use of black and tried to apply what I learned from studying him.

I really love the detail to lighting on the skin, especially the right shoulder blade.

One of the most beautiful paintings!!!The elegant female body echoes throught the musical etude ,which this interesting composition creates.
