" Bear", 16" x 12" acrylic on canvas, 2-27-2013.  He is our 90lb. rescued Back Lab/Akita.  He is one big old Teddy Bear.  So gentle.

Black labs are the best friends you will ever encounter We had two snooper from 1969 to 1985 Casey from 1992 to 2006 we are to old to have anymore they would out live us nice painting Charlie also thanks for doing Courtneys job of notifying people about the three posting rule the website should notify them

Thank you, Cristine.  Yes, they are great dogs. Our 58 lb. Basset, Nona, bosses him around.  So funny to see.

I agree with Jim, this one is great with the reflections of fur, not an easy thing when the "subject" is black!  Love the eyes.

Very nice work.

 

I noticed from your Bio that you started at age 70.   You are progressing well.

I started at age 9 and am now 77.  I learn something new every time I start another drawing or sculpture piece.
