my first attempt at a horse. pastel and charcoal. laura has two horses shes been asking me to sketch. this photo caught my eye. c &c welcome. the last horse i tried to draw was in the seventh grade and that would be early 70s.

what is cool about this is the expression. It is like anything else....just keep practicing. But as you become more proficient at executing the technical aspects of drawing a horse...don't lose the wonderful feeling you have created in this piece.
