mute swans

i know mute swans are not native birds but they are now established here. a frend let me use her photo of the swans and the rest is from my mind. pastel on primed birch wood. a difficult surface to work with. 16x24" my biggest painting so far. comments welcome.

The sky , swans ,woods and snow are all beautiful a complete painting ,also huge I have done a couple bigger but with acrylics that are easier
