Oil on canvas (palette knife), 50x70cm
this is a beautiful painting!
Very nice. I love this painting. Mood, action, color, light....it has it all.
Thank you all very much!
Karen,...excellent work, exquisite landscape.
Love it all!
Thanks guys, much appreciated! I finally plucked up the courage to paint this. Just shows you, that you never know what you are capable of doing unless you try.
This is awesome work....your handling of the water is exceptional! Thanks for the comment on my painting, as it allowed me to also discover your work!
I love Earl Daniel's seascapes and have done a similar scene. You have a feel for this - do some more. Great!
YES!!! Excellent in all!!! ;-)''''''

Wow, I've been perusing your paintings and you are really good with water! Beautiful.
Hello Karen, yes, you never know what you can do until you try! I know you must not live in the USA which seems to be the only country on earth that does not use centimetres! So for you Americans, if I recall my Canadiana Math, this would be approx 20 x28 inches.
So where are you located? I know there are beautiful ocean scenes in many countries. I am landlocked in Nashville TN but it is beautiful also with many rivers and lakes which are lovely but quite a bit smaller than Lake Erie and Lake Ontario that I grew up with!
Is Earl Daniels one of your mentors or teachers?
Thank you so much everybody for all the lovely comments!
Suzy, Earl Daniels was an internationally known seascape and landscape artist who lived and painted in Laguna Beach CA. This painting was actually a cover of one of his instructional art books.
