This watercolor painting of Multnomah Falls, Oregon was done in 2008 after a trip to the falls; a quick sketch and many pictures. It is a large watercolor 17 X 36 inches for which my husband cut a piece of plywood for me so I could soak and then tape and staple the paper to it. It was very hard to work with and I will probably never do a large painting like that again, but it was a good experience. It was a beautiful late summer afternoon. The sounds of the falls and smell of the water just added to the beauty.
