This miniature watercolor painting of a female Northern Cardinal in a juniper tree is 3-1/2” x 2-1/2” and was painted on Acquarello 140# hot-pressed paper.

Spring is in the air! Alex, another cheerful painting, is this the female cardinal? I love the different mauves/blues of the berries, with here and there a speck of highlights.Also, the cardinal seems to look straight into your eyes.
