11 X 14 Pastel Painting.  This is a creek near where I grew up,  This evening it was glowing with the sun setting. We use to swim here as children.  Any comments appreciated.

Wow! Wonderful detail and contrast in the colors. Makes me feel like I'm standing in that cold water.

You've captured a great sense of the atmosphere in this painting. Really excellent. I think you would enjoy some works of Yuri Kugach, who is considered a master of atmosphere. Here's a page I put together of some of his works:
