" Mt. Denali", 14.5" x 10.25" pastel on Canson white sand paper, 12-26-2012
nice pastel charlie. i grew up in fairbanks alaska.
Thanks, Curtis. When we were there we got to see her three days in a row, no clouds to hide her.
Thank you, Jose. If you have not done it go back to Dec23 or 24 and look at my "I have a Headache"
As someone who has been here several times, I like your depicion of this great mountain. nice use of color and contour lines.
Thank you, Roklimb, We did get to see the top for three days in a row while we were there. I understand that only 40% of the people who go there get to see the top because of the low clouds.
Very nice pastel, love the colors!
Thank you, Cristina.
I love the softness of this work Charlie. A beautiful blending of colours
Thank you, Gaye.
"Artist Daily staff and member artists would appreciate your limiting the number of uploads each day to 3apiece, to allow everyone's work the opportunity to be seen and enjoyed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
Hey Gunn, you are doing it again.
I made a mistake the first time I posted to this site in Nov, and I made a mistake last night. If you want to be rude to a new comer who uses different computers to post stuff to this site, then maybe you can learn something about manners. And trust you me... I have read more books on more subjects than you can imagine. And that is the fact, jack. Some people, and artists, have lives that are seperate from this web site, if you can believe that. Nor does it seem that you have any truthfulness in you because I never sent you a nasty note. I simply made the remark that people make mistakes, and if you want to make a mountain out of a mole hole because I posted four instead of three posts, then you should really get a life.
So learn something before you die. Learn something about life and consideration for others.
Ciusca, thanks for your note. It really was a mistake posting four instead of three. I know I was suppossed to post only three, but it has been a long time since I uploaded anything to artistdaily, and I am using new computers to do it. So lets forget all about it. Thanks. Geo.
This note applies to you too, Gunn.
Thank you, Tristin. This is the only pastel that I have done that i like. I think i will stick to watercolr and acrylic for now.
