Watercolor on 140 lb. cold press Fabriano 9x12. The leaves aren't exactly the way I'd like them but I need to think/see them a couple more times. Not sure where I'm going with this but time will tell.
The bird is made of cement and painted black. It is a garden statue. The box is a little antique watercolor paint box I bought for $55 as a birthday gift to myself. It was sold empty but I wanted to put my own stuff in it anyway.
I like it so far.
Thank you Charlie. The bottom edge of the box is actually perfectly straight. It might be a little over painted and sometimes I think I should be using oils. Maybe someday I'll try them. I can't seem to take very good pictures.
Some times the camera does not get it just right.
desde ya se mira genial me encanta especialmente el pájaro
So far so good!
