Charcoal and colored pencil for the eyes on earth-tone paper.  I was so dissatisfied with my first try at this black dog that I decided to give it another effort.  The touch of white charcoal tints blue....oh well.  I hoping this is better.

This looks really nice! I've never used a colored paper before for drawing but seeing this one among a few other's here, I'm really wanting to try it. His fur looks so shiny too!

Thanks, Charlie and Laura!  Catherine, the colored paper produces some really nice affects but it's a little more expensive than white.  I am usually nervous when using it.  Silly me!
