The flowers portrayed on this print are Red Ginger. While there are over 700 varieties of ginger, the two portrayed in this piece are the most widely recognized. The Torch Ginger in the middle is so named because when dried, the flower head is the shape of an extinguished torch, bringing to mind life in “old Hawai`i".

The ginger in this piece is lit from within by a passion burning brightly. Bask in its glow, breathe in its fire and enthusiasm, and bring even more of yourself to life.
