Charcoal and colored pencil. Ok, I got brave and used some of my earth tone paper. Some shading is lost on the digitizing.
I like this! Always like the colored paper background. Good color for a background to a rooster.
Thank you, Alexandra.
Handsome boy. Very nice.
Thanks, Charlie. This "handsome boy" was hatched in an incubato by my son and his fiance. He's special.

He is special.
A handsome cockerel to be sure.
Came out of an incubator?
you don't say!
That's so cool way
So a pet he shall stay
or served after the Entre"?
Of course he is a pet
Or else, your son will be sad
Like a father to the son,
From an egg he was born.
And to love with all his heart,
Never bear to be apart.
Nice! I like the rooster's pose. Different colored backgrounds make the pigment act differently. Fun to experiment!
Love these earthy tones with this handsome guy, And with him inspired philo.yan poetry! Resplendant!
Thank you, Philo. I always look forward to your poems. Also thanks for the nice comments, Laura and Leigh-Anne.
This is amazing! Love it. I´ve never painted anything with colored pencil I have to learn how to do that!
Thank you, Raul!!
