Aprox. 22 x 22 inches on 80 lb. watercolor paper from a roll. Watercolor paint with some sketching first. I kind of like it unfinished but plan on trying her again. From a cement angel statue aprox. 15 in. high. The statue was sitting in my flower bed. I'm finding that for some reason I like to work on the cast paintings.

This is my favorite of the three you have posted.  I'm with you in that "I kind of like it unfinished" too.

She is taped to my kitchen/studio wall as a reminder that unlike a project at work, my art projects don't have to be finished on time or for that matter finished at all. At the moment my biggest "rush job" lol.. is 5x5 inch watercolor of a coworkers little dog and I swear that little watercolor is giving me more grief than this big unfinished painting ever did.

I love this unfinished look - it's as if the angel exists simultaniously in 2 worlds - nice!

Thank you jatravis! I never thought of it as existing in two worlds at once but that's a great way to look at it!

mmm, Like this very much. It's like the statuary is receding into fog, a little haunting.
