Fog Moving In

Back to the West Coast again, well I did spend about 20 years there! This is one of many well known spots along the Southern CA coast, La Jolla.  Scouring through photos for some inspiration I decided to wipe out all the extraneous background (people, lifeguard posts, seagulls).  This is my smallest yet at  5 x 7, acrylic on canvas.  C + C always welcomed.

Beautiful loose brushwork & the colors are great as well as the movement of the water coming in against the shore...

Thank you so much jatravis, Michelle, Charlie and kristensande.  I laid down the water in one go and left it alone.  I lfound that I liked painting on such a small canvas, less room to overwork anything!
