Digital Painting, hand drawn in Photoshop with Wacom tablet.
Inspired by a Japanese fable.
Beautiful work!
Very-very good even with Photoshop
Thank you Anantio and sargassoart .
An exquisite Geisha.
This side of the world, Asia.
Ladies in training,
Singing, Dancing, Entertaining.
Features are so delicate,
Hair long, black as night.
Show your might, accumulate,
Experience, Texture, Color, Light.
Oops! Someone from the Poetry community took offense to the line, "This side of the world, Asia"
So for the record, I am changing the line to "From Japan, Asia" in case I offended anyone from the Art Community.
Thanks
Thank you Philo.yan!
Your poetry is amazing. Thank you for the beautiful words!
I think (IMHO) such wonderful work should be on panel with these craquelures, in gold frame. It's very stylish. Photoshop ... is like near beer.
Thank you Sargassoart.I do plenty of oils, acrylics, watercolors, printmaking. But,I make a living as an illustrator with digital art. You don't have to ship it and you don't have to wait for it to dry. The images are emailed and then printed in magazines or elsewhere. I don't use filters in PS. All freehand and I will use actual pieces of textured paper and such to add a patina to the piece. I am merely including some digital art here to show it is but another medium with it's own unique place in the world of art. Thanks for looking!
