I really like this. Do you do all of your work on black(paper)? If so what is the up-side? Does it help not having to worry about background color? Just curious!

I mostly use Canson Mi-teintes paper (mostly because when I started painting that was the only thing I could find in Guatemala) It has two sides each one with a different grain; I like the softer side which I identify as the one that doesn´t have the sticker on it. I have found that as negative space, black works perfectly so yes I do tend to leave just the the color of the paper when I think it will help the painting, anything else you want to know feel free to ask
