Here is the latest portrait I painted of my daughter using the dry brushing technique, a method I am getting found of.
Dry brushing is a technique that allows you to make paintings that look like drawings in less time. I made a short time lapse video showing the painting process

paper is Canson bristol

I love watching your videos.  Do you start out with a sketch?  Do you rub your dry brush on the dry paint?  Beautiful outcome.

Hello jcurry, I make a drawing on pencil before starting the paint, just the main outlines.

I am rubbing my brush on fresh paint and then dry it on a paper towel before painting on the paper.

I am glad you liked it :-)
