Windmill on US 290

16" x 9" prismacolor pencil on white paper, 7-28-2009.  This windmill is on US 290 close to Chapel Hill, Texas.

Hi Cagunn,

2 suggestions:

Darker shadows of the fencing and the windmill would give more depth to this drawing. Shadows falling on the ground would also give it a 3D effect.

Clouds can be further soften by using semi curved strokes rather than horizontal lines. Use a darker blue on some of the curves in the clouds for depth.
