Oil colors on canvas done with painting (or palette) knives, 2011, 100x100 cm.

It is advisable to view this painting under "View Full Size" in order to capture the 3D-like texture. The digital photo is taken outside around 10:30 am. I will reload the painting under different illumination to capture the richness of colors and texture and also to show the FINAL VERSION of this painting.

ANY IDEAS FOR ANOTHER TITLE?

Beautiful.  I like the looseness and randomness of your strokes.  The background and clothing put me in mind of Van Gogh.  Wonderful colors.

Nothing I can add to all this wonderfull comments but to say thank you for the enjoyment of this piece. The action of her hand and the face possition trigger the imagination of - what is she seeing? Why the stick? To what are she reaching out? Excellent painting.

Regarding your very interesting comment,  Lenerd, I would dare to say that her thoughts are focused on something mystical and her face and the stick express determination. I think this composition is balanced and at the same time it may express some deep feelings. I plan to upload soon the final version of this painting where I did some slight modifications.

This is fabulous. Wonderful texture and palette with a deep sense of emotion. I would suggest "Searching" or perhaps 'Remembrance" as a title.
